After your registration at the inn, we will shortly brief you about the trek to Kakani and sightseeing activity for the day. Among the spectacular historical and pilgrimage sites around Kathmandu, we have chosen the ancient city of Bhaktapur. We begin the trip by strolling around Bhaktapur Durbar Square which provides an insightful glimpse into the past with monuments like The Golden Gate, 55 Window Palace, The Naytapola Temple and medley of traditional craftsmanship of pottery, woodcarving, and weaving passed down through generations.
Day 2 : Sundarijal to Chisapani
We drive to Sundarijal from the hotel, which takes about 45 minutes, after breakfast. Sundarijal, which is a prominent water resource for Kathmandu city, is our starting point. With a steep uphill ascend for around five hours through dense forests we reach Borlang Bhanjyang (2420m). The little pass provides an amazing perspective of the Kathmandu city. Then we descend to Chisapani (2194m) our pit stop of the day.
Day 3 : Chisapani to Shivapuri
We start the day with a view of the picture-perfect sunrise over the White Mountains in Chisapani. Then we commence the journey to Shivapuri. We walk through dense watershed forests, unique vegetation, villages and wild terrain for around 6 to 7 hours to get to Shivapuri. We camp for the night there.
Day 4 : Shivapuri to Kakani
Shivapuri is one the best destinations for seeing the Himalayan Ranges. The encompassing view of Jugal Himal, Dorje, Lhakpa, Gaurishankar, Ganesh, Manaslu, to name a few, is absolutely breathtaking. Shortly after breakfast our trek to Kakani begins. The trail to Kakani pretty much the same except for the abundant rhododendron forests. It takes us around 7 to 8 hours to get to Kakani. We stay here for the night.

Kakani, a spiritually uplifting place, has a lot to offer. After viewing the grassy summits, we find a local trout farm and have breakfast there. Spending some time at the local market, we visit some strawberry farms on the drive back to Kathmandu.
