    Siklis trek is very famous and popular trek of Nepal. This trek is often called the royal trek of Nepal because Prince Charles himself had once visited and trekked in this part of Annapurna region on Siklis village. The Siklis trek provides you with great picturesque view of mighty bold Himalayas such as Annapurna 2 and 4, Lamjung himal, Machapuchhre (Fistail) and many more. This trek is a very great and comfortable camping trek of Annapurna region.  As one does not need to trek to higher altitude, above 2200m. But don’t get mistaken by its fact this trek provides a very great trekking experience on rural part of Nepal. Exploring rural villages, encountering with flora and fauna, great picturesque view, unique culture and tradition of local people, Warm hospitality are just the inseparable part of this trek. Siklis village is a very beautiful Gurung village. It lies above Mardi khola (river). One really gets fascinated by the unique practices and tradition of Lama (Buddhist priest) and the Shamans (Witch doctor) in this village. This village is also famous for its warm hospitality and natural diversity. This trek starts with drive to Pokhara on a tourist bus or private jeep depending upon your choice. We will then trek to Kalikasthan - Lama Khet- and to Siklis village our destination. While trekking en route we will pass through thick vegetation of Rhododendron, wild flowers, oak and many others. This region is also popular among bird watchers and nature lovers. Because of its thick vegetation and dense forest many species of birds and animals are found in abundance.

  • Detail Itinerary
    • Day 1 Kathmandu to Pokhara

      Driving time: 7 to 8 hours

      Flight Duration: 25 to 30 minutes

      We will take an early morning drive to Pokhara or you can have choice of Flight as per your request. It takes around 7 to 8 hours to reach there by bus whereas 25 to 30 minutes by Air. This drive is great as you will be enjoying the nature all around you with green terraced farm, waterfalls, the Himalayas and the rivers. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

    • Day 2 Pokhara to Kalikasthan

      Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours

      Driving time: 40 to 45 minutes

       

      Today we will be trekking to Kalikasthan from Pokhara. At first we will be driving up to Bijayapur khola from here, we will start our trek. We will pass through Rakhi gaon and many other Brahmin and Chettri's settlement to Kalikasthan. Kalikasthan is a very beautiful village on altitude of 1370m.

       

    • Day 3 Kalikasthan to Lamakhet

      Trekking time: 6 hours

       

      After breakfast we will be trekking to Lamakhet. The trial passes through local villages and rice terraces up to Mardi Khola. It will take some 6 hours for us to reach there. En route, we will also pass through village of Bhaise, Nawaldanda and to Lamakhet. Lamakhet is a small beautiful village surrounded by green hills where we will stay the overnight.

    • Day 4 Lamakhet to Siklis village

      Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours

       

      Today after your breakfast we will trek to Siklis village our destination. At first the trials remains plain and easy up to Khila gaon. After that the trial slowly ascends up hill and steep until we reach Siklis village. It will take some 5 to 6 hours for us to reach there. Siklis village is a very beautiful Gurung village offering you great hospitality and panoramic Himalayas view. 

    • Day 5 Siklis village to Forest camp

      Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours

      After breakfast we will trek to Forest camp. Today en route we will pass through forest of rhododendron, wild flowers and oak. It will take some 5 to 6 hours for us to reach there. Forest camp is surrounded by forest in all side so possibility of encountering with wild animals is high and you can even watch birds.

       

    • Day 6 Forest camp to Ghale gaon

      Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours

      Today after your breakfast we will be trekking to Ghale gaon. En route we will walk through rhododendron and dense forest. Today we will also move through the highest pass of this trek. After 5 to 6 hours of walk we will reach Ghale gaon. Ghale gaon is a beautiful village of Gurung and Magar people where we will stay the overnight.

       

    • Day 7 Ghale gaon to Pokhara

      Trekking time: 4 to 5 hours

      After your breakfast we will be trekking to Pokhara today. Today will be the last day of our trek so will trek down at ease enjoying every single moment of this trek. The trial is downhill up to Khudi. The trail passes through the beautiful forest, if you are lucky enough you will also get to see some of the wildlife, this area holds a tremendous potentiality for birds watching.

       

    • Day 8 Pokhara to Kathmandu

      Driving time: 7 to 8 hours

      Flight duration: 25 to 30 minutes

      You have the choice of a flight, early tourist bus or 4x4 back to Kathmandu
