    It all starts with a flight to lukla. It is the starting point of our trek we rest and trek to Chutenga. And after another 8 days of trek will take us to Mera peak. On the trial to Mera peak you will pass through beautiful forest of Rhododendron, Oak, fir and juniper. You can also have some breath taking scenario of nature along with warm hospitality of the local village people and much more to rediscover.

  • Detail Itinerary
    • Day 1 Fly to Lukla and trek to Chutenga

      Trekking distance: 3 to 4 hours

      After an early breakfast you will fly to lukla staring point of our trek. We will then rest some time and get started to trek to Chutenga. We will pass through beautiful forest of rhododendron, fir, oak and juniper after certain time of walk will lead us to Chutenga where we will stay the night 

    • Day 2 Trek to Thuli Kharka (4320m) via Zwatra la (4600 m)

      Trekking distance: 5 to 6 hours

      Today we start our trek from Chutanga, taking a steep climb to cross the Kalo Himal Ridge in the Nau Lekh range and following the trial. En route you can see some amazing views across the Dudh Kosi towards Karyolung and the Lumding Himal after some time we reach Thuli Karkha. Overnight at Thuli Kharka.

       

    • Day 3 Trek to Kothe (3600 m)

      Trekking distance: 5 to 6 hours

      After breakfast we will follow the trail across three ridges and then walk steeply down to the Hinku River. We then trek uphill through beautiful rhododendron forests of the Hinku Valley. After some hours of walk you will reach kothe for the overnight stay.

    • Day 4 Kothe to Thaknak (4,350m)

      Trekking distance: 3 to 4 hours

      Today we trek along the ridge of the Hinku Khola.  After passing Gondishung, the summer herders' settlement you will encounter a 200 year-old Lungsumgba Gompa. Here you will find a rock inscription of Mera Peak along with its route. A short walk takes us to Thaknak, Overnight in Thaknak.

    • Day 5 Thaknak to Khare (5,045m)

      Trekking distance: 2 to 3 hours

      After an early breakfast we start our trek following the lateral moraine of Dig Glacier. After some minutes the trail climbs through moraines of the Hinku Nup and Shar Glaciers, and then climbs more steeply to Khare. Overnight at Khare. 

    • Day 6 Rest day in Khare/Acclimatization:

      Today we will rest and acclimatize. And then you will be provided with all necessary information and general training regarding climbing. And our guides and Sherpa will re check if all the gears and equipment for climbing are arranged if not arranged they will rent it or find a solution for it.  Overnight at Khare. 

    • Day 7 Khare to Mera Base Camp (5300m)

      Trekking distance: 3 to 4 hours

      Today after breakfast, we will start our trek from khare. We will walk through a steep and difficult trail to reach Mera Peak Base Camp. After reaching the base camp, we will rest for a while and then, further training and preparation for the next big day.  Overnight at Mera Peak Base Camp.

    • Day 8 Mera Base Camp to High camp (5,780m)

      Trekking distance: 4 to 5 hours

      Today we will be taking the route through Mera La pass. The trial is very rocky and difficult, so one must be really careful. We will slowly and carefully make our way to the top, high camp. Once we are here you can have a excellent view of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, south face of Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang and Baruntse. Overnight at Mera High Camp.

    • Day 9 Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m) and back to Khare (5045m)

      Walking and climbing time: 8 to 9 hours

      Today is a really big day for us because we will be summiting Mera Peak today. We will wake up at 2 and have our breakfast and start the day. We will slowly climb higher into the ever-thinning air. After certain walk on the steepy, cold difficult trial the summit appears on a distance. We may attach to a fixed rope to reach the summit depending on the conditions. One can  have a Breath taking views of the Bold mighty Himalayas including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Cho-Oyu (8,210m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m), Kangchenjunga (8,586m), Nuptse (7,855m), Chamlang (7,319m), Baruntse (7 ,129m) and others. Later, we retrace our steps back and descend to Khare. Overnight in Khare. 

    • Day 10 Reserve day for summit

      There is no any guarantee of good weather on our summit day so we will reserve this day in case of the bad weather that might happen. On the high camp we must be really careful of the weather and the surrounding and act accordingly.

    • Day 11 Khare to Kothe (3600m)

      Trekking distance: 4 to 5 hours

      Today we will trek from Khare to Kothe retracing the same trail which we used previously. After reaching Kothe, we will celebrate our success by trying out local delicacies and wines. Overnight in Kothe

    • Day 12 Kothe to Thuli Kharka

      Trekking distance: 5 to 6 hours

      After Breakfast we will trek uphill following the previously used trial. We will pass through beautiful forest of rhododendron, fir and juniper. After reaching Thuli Kharka, we can have views of Mera North, Mera Central and South face. Overnight stay at Thuli kharka.

    • Day 13 Thuli Kharka to Lukla

      Trekking distance: 6 to 7 hours

      Today we start our trek by crossing Zatrwa La Pass. After crossing the pass you can have a beautiful view of Lukla Valley which is surrounded by Cho Oyu, Kongde Peak, Numbur Himal, Kusum Khangru and other Himalayas. This last evening in the mountains is an ideal opportunity for a farewell party with the Sherpa guides and porters, where we can sample some chhyang, try Sherpa dancing and look back on a memorable trekking and climbing experience. Overnight in Lukla.

       

    • Day 14 Flight to Kathmandu

      We pack up early and head for the airstrip for the flight back to Katmandu.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1 Fly to Lukla and trek to Chutenga

    Trekking distance: 3 to 4 hours

    After an early breakfast you will fly to lukla staring point of our trek. We will then rest some time and get started to trek to Chutenga. We will pass through beautiful forest of rhododendron, fir, oak and juniper after certain time of walk will lead us to Chutenga where we will stay the night 

  • Day 2 Trek to Thuli Kharka (4320m) via Zwatra la (4600 m)

    Trekking distance: 5 to 6 hours

    Today we start our trek from Chutanga, taking a steep climb to cross the Kalo Himal Ridge in the Nau Lekh range and following the trial. En route you can see some amazing views across the Dudh Kosi towards Karyolung and the Lumding Himal after some time we reach Thuli Karkha. Overnight at Thuli Kharka.

     

  • Day 3 Trek to Kothe (3600 m)

    Trekking distance: 5 to 6 hours

    After breakfast we will follow the trail across three ridges and then walk steeply down to the Hinku River. We then trek uphill through beautiful rhododendron forests of the Hinku Valley. After some hours of walk you will reach kothe for the overnight stay.

  • Day 4 Kothe to Thaknak (4,350m)

    Trekking distance: 3 to 4 hours

  • Day 8 Mera Base Camp to High camp (5,780m)

    Trekking distance: 4 to 5 hours

    Today we will be taking the route through Mera La pass. The trial is very rocky and difficult, so one must be really careful. We will slowly and carefully make our way to the top, high camp. Once we are here you can have a excellent view of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, south face of Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang and Baruntse. Overnight at Mera High Camp.

  • Day 9 Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m) and back to Khare (5045m)

    Walking and climbing time: 8 to 9 hours

    Today is a really big day for us because we will be summiting Mera Peak today. We will wake up at 2 and have our breakfast and start the day. We will slowly climb higher into the ever-thinning air. After certain walk on the steepy, cold difficult trial the summit appears on a distance.   • Day 12 Kothe to Thuli Kharka

    Trekking distance: 5 to 6 hours

    After Breakfast we will trek uphill following the previously used trial. We will pass through beautiful forest of rhododendron, fir and juniper. After reaching Thuli Kharka, we can have views of Mera North, Mera Central and South face. Overnight stay at Thuli kharka.

  • Day 13 Thuli Kharka to Lukla

    Trekking distance: 6 to 7 hours
